I grew up in a small town in Southeast Texas, near the coast.  Being outdoors and camping was a bit thing for my family, my dad especially.

For one of my birthdays, my parents made the mistake of giving me a camera.  I took photos of everything!  I think I still have rolls of film that haven't been developed somewhere.

Being a kid, I photographed what I could access, which, luckily for me, included a lot of nature.  I had dreams of being a National Geographic photographer (and still do!).

​

I still take photos of a lot of nature and wildlife, but I also enjoy photographing pets, equine events and rodeos, and portraits.  My style tends to be a bit more photojournalistic and less posed, when the situation allows.
